Internship placements

YETU provides internship placements for undergraduate and graduate students. the available internship positions are in the following categories

 

  • Administration
  • Research
  • Fundraising
  • program Design
  • Organizational  capacity Development

The internship placement months are:

  • February-April
  • June-August
  • October-December

We are looking for individuals who have

  • Experience working in rural and resource limited settings
  • interperonals skills, cultural sesitivity, and humanity
  • knowledge about international and community development
  • Degree or college diploma
  • Adaptability, communication skills, results oriented
  • Commitment to YETU’S values, vision and mission
  • high level of professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and in small teams

Internship logistics

YETU shall provide the following to all interns :
Shared housing space, Airport pick-up for volunteers outside of Uganda, Professional development
opportunities, Wireless internet, Mentorship, Contribution to meals, Facilitation when implementing YETU
activities, Tourist visa/work permit.

Placement Fees

International interns will contribute USD 250 per month which will go directly towards implementing YETU
activities and supporting rural youths. Any other activities to raise resources and funds for YETU are

Your helping hand is crucial

The role of volunteers in enhancing our work, contributing to our vision and missions cannot be
underestimated. YETU welcomes volunteers all year round for periods ranging from two minimum to four
months maximum. Come learn, share and be a part of transforming the rural youth livelihoods.

Basic Skills and Experience
